American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012

The American
Taxpayers Relief Act of 2012
represents an opportunity to transfer
significant wealth to heirs without estate or gift tax.  Rather than cite the tax increases and
changes that negatively impact your high net worth client, we prefer to focus
on uncovering opportunities that will benefit them NOW by exploring the
permanent lifetime gift exclusion.  It’s
just a phone call away.

The Tax Relief Act offers great opportunities to transfer wealth

As a result of the recent enactment of the Tax Relief Act our design team has been working diligently to create wealth transfer strategies that incorporate the newly increased life time gift exemption of $5,000,000.

There are a number of planning techniques that can help your clients transfer assets to their heirs without triggering gift taxes now or estate taxes later.  Whether the equivalent exemption remains at $5 million or is changed in the future, we have exclusively designed a strategy that increases the future value of the $5 million gift by 4 times, 5 times, or even 8 times regardless of investment results AND does not require time to mature. Naturally, this is dependent on your individual client’s objectives and circumstances, but knowledge is power and we offer a solution worth exploring.

To learn how some unique planning techniques may contribute to your success with your estate planning work and to find out how the services and products we offer can be used to support your estate planning and asset protection cases, contact us by phone or e-mail and we will arrange a time to discuss our services.

Second Annual Premium Financing Conference was a huge success.

“Our second annual conference was a huge success”, stated Julian Movsesian, President of CMS – Succession Capital Alliance.  “It demonstrated that our commitment to providing the effective design and application of traditional premium financing is stronger than ever; and that our carrier partners support our message” continued Mr. Movsesian.  Platinum Sponsors for this year’s conference were Pacific Life and NFP, along with Aviva, John Hancock, Axa Equitable, and Sun Life as Gold Sponsors.

The focus of the 2010 conference agenda was to provide more advanced designs and techniques in both estate and business planning applications that promote the sale of large life insurance policies using CMS.  By design, the majority of the 150 attendees did not attend the 2009 conference. Both new and seasoned advisors who attended were there to learn more about applying leverage in the planning for their high net worth clientele.  This year an “invitation only” approach was utilized to maximize the conference’s effectiveness.  Speakers and topics were hand selected to bring home the point that Traditional Premium Financing is both effective and efficient.

“Now that our second annual Traditional Premium Financing conference for 2010 is behind us we are flooded with positive feedback from those who attended, which has far exceeded expectations”, commented Dean De Marco, Chief Operating Officer of CMS – Succession Capital Alliance.

Insurance professionals who attended were provided the tools necessary to enhance their practice using traditional premium financing and learned that partnering with Succession Capital Alliance will bring their large cases to the finish line.  As stated by one attendee, “Having the opportunity to see and explore the resources and options provided through the CMS - Succession Capital platform was an eye opening opportunity that will assist my practice in reaching a new level.”

International Forum - Orlando, Florida

SCA participated in the International Forum annual conference that was held in Orlando at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel on Feb 16th thru Feb 20th.

The International Forum is a member association of life insurance producers within the life insurance industry. It was an excellent opportunity to network and share ideas with the elite membership in regard to traditional premium financing using CMS.  Now that IOLI programs have been eliminated and hybrid programs are becoming increasingly more difficult to obtain, the CMS traditional premium financing program represents a back-to-basics approach and has demonstrated value in purchasing large life insurance policies for business and estate planning purposes.

The educational meetings provided ideas in all aspects of the life insurance industry.  International Forum producers utilize CMS and recognize the value added benefit of using SCA to design, communicate, and provide funding using their multiple lender platform.

How to secure financing in light of the current credit markets.

Securing a premium finance loan in today’s credit environment requires more due diligence than in the past from both the lender and the producer. Producers and advisors are recognizing that there is more to recommending a premium finance strategy than just the discounted outlay.  Among the myriad of lenders and the loan programs they offer, it has become more difficult to ensure that the best loan program is being recommended to the client without being aware of the other programs that are available. Producers and advisors are freely accepting this liability without fully understanding that it exists.

There are many loan program promoters, but only a few organizations dedicated to providing premium financing direction to the industry.  Still fewer are companies capable of providing custom financing designs that can be used for estate and business planning and are also recognized as experts. CMS – Succession Capital Alliance continues to be viewed as experts in the industry. The loan program they offer is the Capital Maximization Strategy, or CMS. CMS continues to be the largest and longest running traditional premium financing program and is endorsed by many reputable life insurance carriers.  A key strength in CMS – Succession Capital Alliance is not just limited to experience, but their due diligence in selecting the best suited loan program among their multiple lender platform.

The tightening of credit within the industry has further strengthened traditional premium financing as a valid tool in purchasing life insurance.  Know your client, and choose your expert when it comes to premium financing to ensure you have all your bases covered.
