International Forum Jan 18th – 19th
CMS / Succession Capital Alliance attended The International Forum held in Century City, California, in January 2009. The Forum has proven to be a think tank for experienced life insurance professionals in the application and use of life insurance. While attending The Forum it was clear that the life insurance industry recognizes traditional premium financing as the financing program of choice. During the conference we introduced the addition of two lending sources to the CMS program. In an industry where lending is contracting, CMS is expanding. Additionally, as an exhibitor and sponsor at the conference we experienced great interest by producers interested in traditional premium financing.
Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning Jan 12th -16th
As an annual participant at the Heckerling Estate Planning Conference it was clear that professional advisors are gearing up for a new estate tax direction that will be imposed in 2010 and beyond. With monetary needs reaching nightmare levels as a result of the economy, revenues generated via estate taxation are expected to increase. During the conference the underlying tone indicated that life insurance should be part of every estate plan, and that premium financing is an excellent strategy to consider when gift taxes become an issue and the efficient transfer of wealth is important.
New Year 2009
We have entered the new year with excitement about the opportunities before us. Demand for traditional premium finance programs will continue to increase in 2009 as high net worth families and their advisors address growing estate tax concerns. CMS in the Current Economic Climate
Through these unprecedented times in the credit market CMS continues to fund life insurance cases while many lenders are exiting the market. The last several weeks have seen many providers either suspend their programs or exit the market completely. CMS continues to lend further solidifying us as the market leader in traditional premium financing.
